NBA Games : Top Bets
January 22, 2023

Below are our experts’ top bets from tonight’s slate of NBA games.

Brooklyn Nets (+7.5, 237) vs Golden State Warriors

Brooklyn is second in the league with an Under rate of 60%, and will not be coming into this game at full strength, which should hurt them even more. Since Durant has been out, the Nets have had seven of their last eight games finish Under the point total. At 237, this would be the team’s second-highest total since the opening month of the season.

Golden State is only 9-13 to the Over as a home team this year, likely suggesting the market has overpriced this team in Chase Center. Of the last three overs the Warriors have it, none of them have been thig high.

Our model shows this total is about four points higher than it should be.

We like this game to go Under 237.

Kyle Lowry Over/Under 3.5 Assists (-175)

Kyle Lowry has been a decent scorer so far this season, but he is also averaging 5.5 assists per game.

Lowry has played less time since his injury, averaging only played 22 minutes per game, which is why his assist prop is a bit lower than his average. But he’s had six assists in those 43 minutes since returning, and will be only playing more moving forward.

Lowry has hit four assists in seven of his last ten games. Even if he gets 25 minutes, with how he’s played all year, he should be able to get four and potentially more.

We like the Over 3.5 assists from Kyle Lowry
