This year, the Bulldogs much more well-rounded because of the play of quarterback Stetson Bennett. Bennett was a Heisman finalist after doing it all this year. He threw for nearly 4,000 yards, his rushing was a significant factor in the offense’s success.

He’s become a weapon around the goal line, as his mobility has given Georgia another option when looking to punch it in for a touchdown. Bennett’s rushed for seven touchdowns this season and found the end zone in the semifinal game against Ohio State.

TCU Horned Frogs (+12.5, 62.5) vs Georgia Bulldogs

This line opened at Georgia -13.5 at most books and has since gone down to -12.5.  TCU has received over 80% of the bets thus far.  With such little movement despite such a large bet-percentage from the public, this indicates a lot of sharp and big-money bettors are backing Georgia.

The Georgia defense ranks fifth in the country allowing 14.8 points a game while TCU ranks 64th allowing 26.4 points per game against worse competition. On the other side of the ball Georgia ranks eighth in total offense racking up 494.9 yards per game and TCU ranks just 80th in total defense allowing 395.3 yards per game. Over the past two games, TCU has been extremely susceptible to big plays as they allowed a total of 10 passes and six runs of over 20 yards combined.

While TCU may be able to score against Georgia, we see the Horned Frog’s defense having a very difficult time stopping Stetson Bennett and the Georgia offense.
