Best Monday Night Bets: NFL Week 10
November 14, 2022

Going into Monday night’s game between the Commanders and Eagles, we take a look at the best bets as recommended by our experts.

Washington Commanders at Philadelphia Eagles (-11, 44.5)

Despite being undefeated, the Eagles are only an above-average team against the spread at 5-3, with non-covering wins vs. the Lions, Cardinals and Texans. The Commanders were badly beaten in Week 3 by the Eagles, but have looked much better since then. They put together a three-game winning streak and had a chance against the 8-1 Vikings last week before falling three points short.

We expect the game to play out similar to the Eagles last game, where they are in control of the game, but their opponent has the opportunity for a back door cover because of the large spread. We like the Commanders +11.

Brian Robinson: Over 34.5 rushing yards (-110)

The Eagles use only six players in the box more than most other teams, which opens them up against the run. This happened last week when Dameon Pierce ran 27 times for 139 yards in the Houston loss. With Taylor Heinicke at quarterback this season, Washington has been one of the most run-heavy teams in football with a 50% run rate.

Rookie running back Brian Robinson has out-carried and out-rushed Antonio Gibson for five straight weeks. With J.D. McKissic likely out again, Robinson should get at least half of the carries Monday night. Robinson’s averaging 44 yards rushing yards per game on the season across five games.

The Commanders should be staying with the rush for at least the first half, and we expect Robinson to be heavily involved getting at least 50% of the carries. As a result, we like the over for Brian Robinson’s rushing yards.
